Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Plant maintenance manager to join our dynamic team. As a Plant maintenance manager, you will be responsible for:
● Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
● Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to restore production quickly.
● Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.
● Manage the procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
● Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
● Lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations to address recurring equipment issues.
● Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel to enhance skills and knowledge.
● Continuously seek opportunities to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
● Communicate effectively with stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks.
● Actively participate in plant meetings and initiatives to support overall business objectives.
● Oversee and manage all maintenance activities within the plant facility.
● Minimize downtime and production interruptions by proactively addressing maintenance issues.
● Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure seamless production processes.
● Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement or upgrades.
● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
● Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and inventory effectively to control costs.
● Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce breakdowns.
● Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute equipment modifications or upgrades as necessary.

BOURBON AUTOMOTIVE PLASTICS NITRA s.r.o. is part of GROUPE PLASTIVALOIRE, which has production plants in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
