Senior strategic purchaser

The Strategic Purchaser is responsible for implementing effective procurement strategies to optimize the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring cost -effective and high-quality procurement solution. This position is responsible for steel components and indirect purchasing.

Main task and responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing:
• • evaluate and select supplier base on factors such as quality, cost and reliability
  • conduct market analysis to stay informed about trends and identify potential risks and opportunities 
• Supplier relationships management:
• • build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • negotiate favorable term and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization
  • monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
• cost management:
• • analyze costs and implement cost reduction actions
  • collaborate with cross functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• contract management:
• • draft, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • monitor contract performance and enforce terms and conditions
