Habitat for Humanity Area Office for Europe and Middle East (HFHI EME) is seeking a dedicated team member to join its Resource development and partnerships (RD) department focusing on the EME region. We are looking for a new colleague to serve as a Donor Relations Officer. You will support meaningful international development projects and partnerships all around the world. This includes supporting regional fundraisers who are fundraising $12M+ annually and assisting to steward a portfolio of active grants and partnerships with international corporations and private philanthropists. You will join a team of three people based in Bratislava providing support to three front facing fundraisers active around Europe. The whole Bratislava team consists of app. 45 people, and you will also closely cooperate with our colleagues across Europe, the US, LAC and APAC. This position is to be based in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Please note that this position is for a fixed period of two years with a possibility of prolongation upon available funding and satisfactory performance.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
• Assist with reporting and development of new project proposals.
• Oversee an active portfolio of grants and donor stewardship, including reporting on the active grants.
• Help to meet fundraising targets and donor stewardship portfolio.
• Lead coordination of the funding coming from other fundraising colleagues to region overseen by the RD team.
• Ensure smooth coordination and administration of selected grants/partnerships cross-regionally and cross-departmentally.
• Support organizing of donor events.
• Actively contribute to meaningful international development and projects helping vulnerable people through:
- Supporting acquisitions and identification of new donors through Internet research and information management.
- Drafting PowerPoint presentations for the meetings of the front facing fundraisers.
- Coordination of reporting and information requested by donors.
- Verification of planned project targets and actual results.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?
To thrive as a Donor Relations Officer at Habitat for Humanity, you:
• Have a University Degree in International Development, International Relations, European Studies, Social Sciences, Communications/Marketing, Business, or other related fields.
• Have 2-6 years of related work experience (including internships and part-time jobs).
• Are fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Are proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Have experience in data management and data analysis and understand budget creation and reporting.
• Have strong organizational skills and excellent writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Have excellent management and interpersonal skills.
• Have a strong interest in international development, global development issues, practices and principles and have high ethical standards.
• Are creative (in developing profitable fundraising activities and materials).
• Area team player and have a strong collaborative approach.
• Have experience with working in a multi-national and cross-cultural setting.
• Have experience with fundraising, resource development or account management for at least 1 year.
