Specialista/Analytik cenotvorby - Bratislava

We are searching for a potential candidate for a Pricing Strategy Senior Specialist position whose role will be to support the development and effective execution of the revenue management agenda. He/she will develop and maintain tools which support revenue management strategy and execution, to support Revenue Manager in Slovakia.

• Development and maintenance of tools which support revenue management strategy and execution
• Develops econometric models and conducts analytics, including model design and testing scenarios
• Analyzes macro-economic trends impacting discretionary income and affordability of beer
• Prepares profiles of competitors, including recent pricing actions, speed and magnitude of followership, and related factors impacting customers price actions
• Estimates category growth rates, volume, share and price trends by tier
• Supports formation of recommendations regarding category and brand price positioning relative to substitutes and versus competitors
• Supplies the analytics required to support retail sell-in story
• Measures performance of pricing and price-related promotion strategy on an ongoing basis
• Conducts ad hoc analyses on threats and opportunities as they arise

• University degree in economics, mathematics or business degree with extensive quantitative content
• Min. 2 years of experience in FMCG (ideally in beverages ) in finance or sales or business strategy, pricing experience advantageous
• Knowledge of consumer pricing research techniques
• Strong understanding of econometric modeling and analysis
• Skilled excel user, knowledge of other pricing system tools advantageous
• Strong intellect, and ability to think conceptually, with a high attention to detail
• Ability to assimilate a complex, competitive and rapidly changing environment into clear models
• Credible with operational managers
• Familiarity with how to read and analyze POS data including AC Nielsen or MEMRB
• Fluent English – written and oral
• PC skills ( MS Office)
